Kaplan hosts free medical school events throughout the year.

Some of our major medical school events include:

Learn about medical school first-hand from admissions officers and doctors. A panel of experts will cover insider tips on the application process and discuss medical career opportunities. Events may include a medical school fair with representation from area and national medical schools (2-3 hours).

Now that the MCAT is only given on computer, students have to master new skills aside from content mastery and critical thinking to succeed on the MCAT. This free event will help you decide which MCAT test date is right for you and help you get more familiar with the computer test interface.

Test your skills with a practice MCAT and get a detailed analysis of your performance. Plus: Kaplan experts provide an overview of the MCAT and its role in the medical school admissions process. This event typically runs 4-5 hours. Performance analysis is made available approximately 2-7 days after the practice test.

Kaplan MCAT experts address how medical schools evaluate applicants and how to create a winning med school application package, including tips on essays, letters of recommendation, and interviews. Perhaps most importantly, this event provides in-depth explanation of the MCAT's scoring and structure, plus a few Kaplan strategies for scoring higher. This event is also offered separately (Medical Admissions Seminar and Mastering the MCAT) at most Kaplan locations nationwide. Register for the full or partial event.
