Many physical science passages will contain charts. On answering the questions, look at the chart first. It helps you organize what you know from the passage so that you can access the information quickly while answering the questions.
A key mistake on the MCAT is reading more complexity into a question than is there. Referencing a chart can often crystallize the information for you, rather than trying to extract it from the dense paragraphs of the passage. Always remember that you're reading for data—not meaning or structure.
A note of caution, however: Be sure that you understand the context of every piece of data that you collect.
