Ms. Jan Matthews
Vice President
Health Services, Inc.
7 Harbor Drive
Norwalk, CT 06883
Dear Ms. Matthews,
I am writing to apply for an entry-level account
services position. My strong background in economics,
finance, and journalism positions me to make a
significant contribution to a firm such as yours, which
requires both excellent analytical and communication
skills.
As a combined economics and journalism major, I have
developed a solid foundation in both numbers and words.
As president of the Tulane Investment Club, I utilized my
dual skill sets to track the success of the club's
investments and coach new members in good investment
strategies. The result was a 20 percent annual return on
investment during my tenure as president. Additionally,
my strength in not only understanding numbers but also in
being able to communicate to others led to my position as
an associate economics instructor at Tulane. In the
temporary position I now hold, I have developed an
innovative database system that will increase office
efficiency.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look
forward to talking with you about your needs and the ways
in which I could contribute to Health Services, Inc. I
will call soon to follow up on this letter.
Sincerely,
Terry Rightrack
