Profile:
With a recently completed new facility,
Marquette University's School of Dentistry is leading
the way with its innovative approach to dental
education. The School has developed an integrated,
case-based educational approach that more closely
models the real world of practice. The current
courses are being reorganized and streamlined into 9
major and 5 mini tracks. Lecture hours are being
reduced by 30 percent, and general dentistry rounds
are being introduced as the cornerstone of the
interdisciplinary curriculum.
Graduate specializations include geriatric
dentistry, prosthodontics, dental materials,
endodontics, pediatric dentistry and
orthodontics.

Admissions Requirements:
Applicants must complete a minimum of 90
semester hours at an accredited college. A large
majority of enrolled students have obtained a
bachelor's degree.

Semester Units
Additional coursework in biology, biochemistry,
and mathematics are strongly recommended. Applicants
are also encouraged to pursue studies in English
literature, speech, history, philosophy, sociology,
political science, economics, accounting and
psychology.
