Profile:
The McGill Dental School was established in 1904 and became known as the Faculty of Dentistry in 1920. The basic sciences of the preclinical curriculum are taught in conjunction with the Faculty of Medicine. Clinically, the Faculty of Dentistry is closely associated with the Montreal General Hospital, where the clinical teaching is carried out along with rotations to other teaching hospitals. The Faculty of Dentistry awards the D.M.D. degree.

Admissions Requirements:
One year of course work must be completed in each of the following: General Biology, General Chemistry, Physics, Courses in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, and physiology are strongly recommended.
