Temple University School of Dentistry has a tradition of excellence in clinical dentistry. The School of Dentistry, established in 1863 as the Philadelphia Dental College, became part of Temple University in 1907. Temple is the second-oldest dental school in the United States and, for 137 years, has provided its students with a strong academic and clinical background for the practice of general dentistry. As per the school's website, "annual polls of recent graduates indicate that the great majority, if they had to do it over again, would still "choose Temple". "

Admissions Requirements:
Completion of a minimum of 90 semester hours from an accredited college or university is required for admission. Students who have completed a baccalaureate degree are given preference in the admissions process.

  Organic Chemistry Biology w/lab - 6 Semester Units
  Physics w/lab - 6 Semester Units
  English - 6 Semester Units

It is also recommended that applicants have at least two or three advanced sciences courses such as biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, or histology.
