Talk about Kaplan's
products:
Let people know about Kaplan's products, especially when there
are special offers. Give them a reason to check out Kaplan's
site. Tell people all about the products and services Kaplan has
to offer. If you need assistance with this, use our
affiliate marketing copy.
Communicate with your
users:
If you have a newsletter, send out solo emails for special
offers. Make sure your audience knows about them. Or, don't
forget to include a Kaplan "snippet" in any email you send out
where Kaplan might be a relevant product. Talking to high school
students? Mention the SAT.
Market all aspects of
Kaplan:
Cross-promote Kaplan throughout your site. If you are talking
about the MCAT, don't forget about our Medical School
Admissions Adviser.
Use all types of links:
Different people respond to different types of links. Most people
respond to text links, or specific links. Use the Individual
Product links. Use text links. Use storefronts. Use every thing
in conjunction, throughout your site, not just all on one page.
It looks too much like a brochure that way. Surround a product
link with relevant text.
Give a review of the
product:
Or even just talk about it. You can find all sorts of information
about each of our products on our site, or contact someone on the
affiliate staff. They can get you the copy you are looking
for.
Look at the Test Dates and Sales
Cycle:
Keep yourself up to date on what tests are coming up and which
tests are big sellers of the month. This information can be found
within the affiliate community. With this knowledge, you will
know better which products to promote at which times of year
(unless you are a test-specific site, or cater to a specific
test-taking audience).
